The Cairns & Great Barrier Reef region is gearing up to welcome over 900 Asian delegates for the USANA Asia Pacific Growth Incentive taking place 26 May – 1 June.
Managed by cievents, the incentive will see delegates visit Port Douglas and Daintree and experience the wonders of the region’s twin World Heritage listed areas, the Great Barrier Reef and Wet Tropics Rainforest, including indigenous and wildlife activities.
Director of Business & Tourism Events Rosie Douglas says the region is thrilled to be host to such a high-profile event, which is expected to bring significant economic impact to the local tourism industry.
“The 7-day program exceeded event organisers’ expectations on all fronts and resulted in an increase in delegate numbers from 400 to more than 900.”
“Cairns will be rolling out the red carpet to make delegates feel at home and ensure that they return with memories of a lifetime.”
