The team and members of Business Events Cairns & Great Barrier Reef attended another successful AIME event, remaining optimistic that the conscious efforts of our destination and attraction of our natural environment will conserve a resilient industry.
Attending alongside Business Events Cairns & Great Barrier Reef, the region was represented by Business Events Port Douglas, Cairns Convention Centre, Crystalbrook Collection, NQ Exhibitions, Pullman Reef Hotel Casino and Shangri-La Hotel, The Marina, Cairns.
Collectively, Cairns & Great Barrier Reef met with over 200 qualified business event organisers over a two-day trade show, providing information and insight into why Cairns & Great Barrier Reef is the ultimate business events destination.
Feedback from stand partners reflected a high calibre of qualified buyers with tangible business leads, both domestic and international, even despite the absence of the China market representation due to COVID19 restrictions.
There was a notable increase in shorter-lead event opportunities, most of which had recently transpired due to cancellations or restrictions within COVID19 affected destinations.
As a destination known for it’s flexibility, Cairns & Great Barrier Reef came prepared to tackle any tricky territory, equipped with a range of offerings to adapt to challenging times and well-thought contingencies.
