Cairns to Port Douglas

Morning

Arrive into Cairns International Airport and feel enveloped in the tropical warmth the moment you step off the plane. Afternoon

Travel the Great Barrier Reef Drive – one of Australia’s most stunning journeys winding its way through the mountains on one side and the sparkling Coral Sea on the other to Port Douglas. Enjoy a relaxed, sand-between-your-toes lunch on a private beach while refreshing with your very own coconut, hand-cut by your host.

Evening

Tonight is a celebration of Port Douglas life, featuring a sunset sail along the famous coastline of Four Mile Beach before dinner on the iconic, heritage-listed Sugar Wharf as fireworks explode over the ocean in a magnificent display of tropical colour.

Day 2

Cultural Immersion in the Rainforest

Morning

Immerse and connect with ancient Aboriginal culture through a Dreamtime guided tour of the rainforest of Mossman Gorge with a local Kuku Yalanji ranger. Learn the richness of the world’s oldest living continuous culture while walking through the pristine rainforest and exploring the hidden treasures of bush medicine and tradition.

Afternoon

Dip your toes in the crystal clear, healing waters of the Mossman River for lunch under the rainforest canopy, before drifting peacefully down the emerald waters on a floating mattress watching the world go by.

Evening

Celebrate the quintessential character of the North on a working cane farm as you indulge in a rustic menu featuring Australian lamb, Queensland scallops, Tableland beef and coconut prawns highlighted by the unique flavours of lemon aspen, wattle seed, vanilla, quandong and riberry before the cane fields ignite in orange flame celebrating years of sugar cane farming tradition.

Day 3

Exclusive Great Barrier Reef Your Way



Morning 

Early risers can enjoy the quiet of daybreak with a picture-perfect sunrise and an exclusive yoga class on the golden sands of Four Mile Beach before cooling off in the acres of sparkling lagoon pool with a private floating breakfast.

Afternoon and Evening

Energised, set off from the Port Douglas Marina, and enjoy the spectacular postcard views of the Port Douglas waterfront as you leave the coast behind. Slicing across pristine, aquamarine waters from the comfort of your luxury private vessel, arrive at the reef ready to dive into the vibrant underwater world teeming with colourful fish and expansive coral gardens.

Indulge in a sumptuous seafood lunch and soak up the sunshine relaxing on deck before toasting the day with champagne on the return journey to Port Douglas.

Day 4

See the World from Above before Departure



Morning

Wake up to a champagne sunrise on board a hot air balloon as you float over the patchwork fields of the stunning Tablelands region. Float back down to earth and travel to the iconic Port Douglas markets to enjoy a relaxed dine-around breakfast of fresh sugar cane or mandarin juice, artisan bread and doughnuts, fresh crepes, coffee and Daintree Tea as you mingle with stall holders and select from handcrafted works of art, photography, jewellery, metalwork and woodwork.

Afternoon

Come together for an intimate farewell lunch at a private house overlooking the mountains, before farewelling Port Douglas and making your way back down the spectacular Great Barrier Reef drive.
