From the tropical islands and Daintree Rainforest to the Atherton Tablelands, Mission Beach & Cassowary Coast and Mossman Gorge, these destinations offer options for incentive experiences, offsite events, pre and post touring and delegate activities that can complement a conference or meeting program.
Tropical Islands
The tropical islands of the Great Barrier Reef offer options for day trips, incentive experiences, offsite events and smaller residential programs. Each island provides a different setting, from easy access to the reef and rainforest on Green and Fitzroy Islands to the secluded resort experience of Lizard Island.
Green Island is around 40 minutes from Cairns by boat and suits small meetings, beachfront dining, team activities and day programs. Fitzroy Island, around 45 minutes from Cairns, combines reef and rainforest experiences with options for residential conferences, offsite events and incentive programs. Lizard Island offers a more exclusive setting for smaller incentive groups, with accommodation for up to 80 guests and access to reef, walking and wellness experiences.

Kuranda
Just beyond Cairns, Kuranda offers a distinctive rainforest setting for delegate experiences, incentive programs and offsite events. Known as the Village in the Rainforest, Kuranda can be incorporated into a program via Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, Kuranda Scenic Railway or road, with time to explore local markets, galleries, cafés and wildlife experiences.
Groups can also incorporate rainforest experiences, cultural activities and events at Rainforestation Nature Park, creating opportunities to build a half day or full day Kuranda experience into an incentive or touring program.

Atherton Tablelands
The Atherton Tablelands offer a different side of Tropical North Queensland, with a strong food and agricultural identity and a range of experiences suited to incentive programs, team activities and day touring.
Programs can incorporate local produce tastings, coffee and food experiences, farm visits, wildlife encounters and outdoor activities, including waterfall walks and canopy experiences. The region also offers opportunities to connect delegates with local producers and the landscapes of the Tablelands.
Daintree Rainforest & Cape Tribulation
The Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation offer a distinctive setting for incentive experiences, delegate touring and smaller group programs. Located within the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area, the region can be explored through guided rainforest experiences, river cruises, wildlife encounters and Indigenous cultural experiences.
Further north, Cape Tribulation is where the rainforest meets the reef, offering opportunities to incorporate guided walks, nature experiences and bespoke activities into incentive, executive, pre and post touring programs. The region is best suited to programs where the journey and destination experience are part of the itinerary, rather than large scale conferences.

Mossman Gorge
Mossman Gorge provides a distinctive setting for cultural and rainforest experiences within the Daintree region. Delegates can participate in guided rainforest walks and Indigenous cultural experiences that explore the connection between the local Traditional Owners and Country.
Mossman Gorge works particularly well as part of incentive, pre and post touring programs, giving delegates an opportunity to experience the rainforest and learn more about the region’s Indigenous culture.
