The Cairns Cruise Liner Terminal combines heritage architecture with a flexible event space in the heart of Cairns. Originally built as a wharf shed more than a century ago, the heritage-listed building has been transformed into a modern venue while retaining original features including exposed timber and ironwork, the clock tower, bell and large timber doors.
The terminal can be configured for a range of business events, from corporate functions and cocktail events to gala dinners, networking gatherings and special celebrations. Indoor event space can extend into the breezeway and outdoor deck areas, with views across Trinity Inlet and the surrounding mountains.
With full or partial venue hire options, the terminal provides flexibility for different event formats and group sizes. Its central Cairns location is within easy walking distance of the Cairns Convention Centre and many city hotels, making it a convenient option for events held alongside a conference or incentive program.
Availability is dependent on port operations and is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
