Cairns & Great Barrier Reef Unveils New Look Stand

Anticipation to attend the Asia-Pacific Incentives & Meetings Event next week in Melbourne is at an all-time high for Business Events Cairns & Great Barrier Reef. Last month, Get Local Expo in Sydney was the bureau’s first foray into face-to-face tradeshows in two years so we’re beyond excited to be able to showcase the destination again.

Partnering with eleven business events operators from the region, Business Events Cairns & Great Barrier Reef have a new look stand.

“Trying to convey the greatness of our region through stunning imagery is always a pleasure”, says Rosie Douglas, general manager of Business Events Cairns & Great Barrier Reef.

“The Great Barrier Reef is iconic, and we have many more experiences that can be just as awe-inspiring for your delegates” she continued.

“We’ll have virtual reality headsets as well so you can jump right into the experiences.” Created through Business Events Australia’s Boost for Business Events Program, the headsets give you a taste of what it’s like to jump off Australia’s only bungy tower but keep your feet firmly planted on the ground.

A stalwart of the tradeshow, the bureau relies on ExpoNet to deliver an exceptional stand, and they do it year-after-year with ease.

“ExpoNet are a dream to work with. Our stand now envelopes visitors with mesmerising underwater reef scenes, the tranquillity of the rainforest at Babinda Boulders, and you can almost hear the roar buffeting the group of delegates standing under the waterfall.”

Ready to meet you at AIME on the Cairns & Great Barrier Reef stand will be Ochre Restaurant, Crystalbrook Collection, Flames of the Forest, Hemingway’s Brewery, Pullman Reef Hotel Casino, Shangri-La Cairns The Marina, NQ Exhibitions, Pullman Cairns International, Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort, Cairns Convention Centre, and Business Events Port Douglas.

Hanging above the region’s stand, new imagery is full of the colours of our tropical lifestyle. Overflowing orange and greens of the seafood served by the Ochre Restaurant team, the golden hues of dusk settling over champagne moments in the sugar cane fields, the azure waters of the Coral Sea beckoning delegates to jump in, and the vivid white of the gushing fresh water over Crystal Cascades.

“The new images are really representative of the partners joining us at the tradeshow. We all work together as we know that surrounding your team with great, leaves your business greater.”

Douglas invites AIME attendees to “visit the Business Events Cairns & Great Barrier Reef stand, and tell us which is your favourite image.”
