Reforest is a tool for climate leaders. It helps business event organisers calculate the carbon footprint of their event and offset this by planting trees in local, biodiverse reforestation projects to remove the carbon emissions of activities from everyday life, special events and business travel.
Reforest provides a meaningful, tangible result, restoring local ecosystems through their app, or your event app and website, or by displaying a QR code during your business event.
Participation in the Reforest program can begin in the lead-up to the event as part of the registration process, launched at the event and be celebrated afterwards or at the following year’s conference.
When you hold your business events in Cairns & Great Barrier Reef, you can eliminate the event’s carbon impact by supporting localised tree planting and revegetation programs, like the endangered Mabi rainforest on the Atherton Tablelands.
