Corporate Social Responsibility

With two World Heritage areas shaping the way we do business, Corporate Social Responsibility is part of Cairns & Great Barrier Reef’s DNA. Delegates leave as custodians of our region and our stories as conscious travel is ingrained in every event.

Business events are encouraged to Connect Great, Leave Greater by embedding meaningful CSR opportunities into event itineraries that will resonate with delegates while aligning with broader sustainability goals. These could be partnering with local conservation projects, choosing eco-accredited operators, and integrating a carbon offset program.

Team building activities such as assisting with coral restoration projects or tree kangaroo habitat restoration create a lasting positive legacy for World Heritage ecosystems. Through these many activities, Cairns & Great Barrier Reef events celebrate a shared commitment to environmental stewardship.
